The sixth Dragonball Z movie begins with a giant metal thing attaching to New Namek. Dende, the current guardian of Earth, calls them and asks them to go to New Namek and clear up the crisis. Goku, Master Roshi, Oolong, Yajiroby, Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin fly to New Namek in one of the spaceships built by Dr. Briefs, Bulma's father. The giant metal thing had released robots on New Namek to bring the Namekians to the ship to cut them up to be used as biological energy. The Z-fighters land to see the robots marching the Namekian. One Namekian tries to resist and is about to be killed until Gohan saves him. Goku tells the robots to leave peacefully, but then their leader appears. It turns out to be Meta Cooler, a robotic version of Cooler in his fourth form (the form that both Cooler and Frieza share and are seen in). He controls the Big Gete Star, the big metal thing that is attacking New Namek. Everyone except for Goku starts fighting the robot army, leaving Goku and Cooler to duke it out. The others try to penetrate the robots' armour, but they just can not seem to do it. Piccolo tells them to focus their energy on one point. Doing so allowed them to destroy a few of the robots, but hundreds more remain. Everyone fighting the robots besides Piccolo is captured and taken to the Big Gete Star. Piccolo destroys the robots all at once with one spectacular attack. He flies towards the Big Gete Star to free the Namekians and his friends. Goku and Cooler are fighting, and during the fight is is discovered that Cooler knows Instant Transmission. Goku soon is forced to turn into a Super Saiyan, which makes Cooler glad because that is how he best remembered Goku. Goku is able to separate part of Cooler from his metalic body, but wires just come out and reattach. Cooler tells Goku that the Big Gete Star designed his new metalic body to adapt and remove every flaw that comes its way, and prevents it from happening again in the same way, making him stronger every time that Goku can throw a major blow. Goku goes in for another attack, but is grabbed by Cooler, and Cooler starts choking the Super Saiyan. Cooler is about to finish Goku off when Vegeta, traveling to New Namek via a Saiyan space pod (where did he get that anyway?), arrives and saves him. Then he transforms into a Super Saiyan. Goku convinces Vegeta to work together, and they are able to destroy Meta Cooler. Piccolo is in the Big Gete Star trying to free the others when he is met by a metalic figure who blasts Piccolo. Goku and Vegeta transform back into their normal Saiyan forms. Just before they can rest, however, Cooler's voice is heard. Then a thousand more Meta Coolers appear and attack the once again transformed Super Saiyans. They are then seen attached to wires in the Big Gete Star. What is left of Cooler's organic body, a tiny bit of his face and brain, is connected to wires that make up the rest of his head. Cooler then tells Goku and Vegeta that there was a chip flying through space that started absorbing all the parts around it, absorbing part of Cooler in the process, and Cooler's brain merged with the super computer in the Big Gete Star. So Cooler says he is the Big Gete Star. He tells them that one of the flaws that were fixed in his body was that he only had one body. Then he starts absorb their power. When they seem to had given all that they could, Cooler closes the circuit, saying that anymore might have been too much for him to handle. Then the Saiyans give even more energy, even though the circuit is closed. The wires try to pull away, but Goku and Vegeta grab them and give almost everything they can give. With all of this power, the one thousand one Meta Coolers (a thousand from the Saiyan fight, one that is attacking Piccolo) blow up. Then, wires make up some weird body in the shape of the same shape as the Meta Coolers. It grabs Goku and is about to kill him when Vegeta slices off Cooler's arm, freeing Goku and allowing him to charge up. He blasts Cooler, destroying him once and for all and sending the Big Gete Star into space. Goku and Vegeta escape falling to the ground from about two hundred yards up in the air. The Big Gete Star continues space bound and blows up. Everyone wondors where Vegeta went, but Goku senses that he is in space, flying back to Earth. Vegeta is holding the original chip that created the Big Gete Star and contained the last part of Cooler in any sense. He crushes it, destroying Cooler forever. New Namek is saved and the Z-fighters head home to end the sixth Dragonball Z movie.
