Lord Slug Story

Note: This is based on the Funimation dub of the series.

The movie starts with Gohan going to see Piccolo at the waterfall.  Gohan wanted to show Piccolo that he had taught Icarus to dance with him whistling.  Piccolo hears Gohan whistle and demands that he stops and tells him never to do that again.  Bulma's father, Dr. Briefs, is looking through a telescope and seeing a very large meteor   heading towards Earth.  There may be life on it, so Goku and friends do not want to destroy it.  The models show that Earth will be destroyed if it hits at full speed.  Goku and Krillin go up into the upper atmosphere and fire Kamehameha Waves at the meteor, just to redirect it instead of destroying it.  They fail.  It hits them, sending them crashing to Earth.  The meteor misses the planet, and promptly explodes soon after it passes Earth.  A spaceship left the meteor before it exploded, and the ship lands in a city, almost destroying it.  Soldiers come out of the ship and claim the planet for Lord Slug.  Gohan fights some of the soldiers, and at one point is actually helped by his mother, Chi-Chi.  Lord Slug is watching a holographic version of the fight and sees the Dragonball on his hat.  Lord Slug himself comes out and takes Gohan's Dragonball.  Then he reads Bulma's mind and takes her Dragon Radar to find the other six.  A device is shot into space, starting a process that will terra-freeze the planet.  Lord Slug summons Shenron and wishes that he would have eternal youth, for he was about to die of age and his equipment was all that was keeping him alive.  With his renewed youth came renewed power for Lord Slug.  Yajiroby finds Goku and Krillin and give them Sensu Beans.  Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo fight all of Lord Slug's fighters, only leaving Lord Slug.  Eventually Gohan is left to weak to move very much, leaving only Goku and Piccolo.  Goku fights him, and eventually gets angry and turns into what most people call the Fake Super Saiyan form.  Goku loses his pupils and is tinted with red, similar to when he uses the Kaioken.  He starts pounding Slug, and Slug reveals that he is Namekian by tearing off one of his arms and regenerating a new one (most people watching can tell he is Namekain from his first appearance in the movie).  Then he starts growing, demonstrating his powers as a Super Namekian.  King Kai explains to Goku that the Super Namekians were Namekains who had gained a "higher conscious" and were able to greatly raise their power levels by growing in size.  The Namekians used Porunga to exile them from planet Namek.  Slug was the last remaining Super Namekain.  Goku loses the power he had gained from the False Super Saiyan form, and Lord Slug starts pulverizing Goku.  Goku is knocked unconscious and Piccolo joins the fight.  Piccolo gets an idea and rips his ears off.  Then he yells to Gohan that he needs to do what he showed him at the waterfall(apparently either Piccolo does not know that it is called whistling or he did not want Lord Slug to know what he was up to).  Gohan does this, and King Kai realizes that Namekians have an acute sense of hearing.  To Slug, a giant Super Namekian, the sound is amplified 10x and it is excruciatingly painful to him.  Piccolo struggles to reach out to Goku to give him the little energy he had left(Why doesn't he just use his expanding limbs?).  He does, and Goku gets back into the fight and uses the Kaioken to punch a hole in Lord Slug's torso.  Goku flies up to destroy the terra-freezing device, but Lord Slug had survived and grabs hold of Goku with his expanding limbs.  Goku escapes from his grip and uses the sun's energy for a Spirit Bomb.  Goku destroys the device and kills Lord Slug.  Yajiroby appears again and gives them Sensu Beans.  Piccolo regrows his ears, and there is a happy ending.  To close the fourth movie, Master Roshi wakes from a nap and wishes that something exciting would happen(he had been sleeping the entire time).
