Cooler's Revenge Story

Note: This is based on the Funimation dub of the movie.

The movie starts with Cooler watching his brother's, Frieza's, demolition of Planet Frieza.  He sees a Saiyan space pod with a baby Saiyan on board.  He lets the boy go, letting Frieza take care of his own mess.  This Saiyan eventually flies to Earth and becomes known as Goku.  Many years later, Goku defeats Frieza as a Super Saiayn, which Cooler hears about and heads towards planet Earth.  Back on Earth, Goku is telling Gohan to finish his homework.  Chi-Chi thinks something terrible has happened to her husband.  She is about to hit him with a frying pan when Goku hurries to do something else and she misses, breaking her dining table.  Goku tells Gohan to hurry up again so that they could go camping.  Chi-Chi, now realizing that Goku is right in the head, asks Goku what is more important, camping or homework?  Goku answers, "Every sensible parent knows that."  Chi-Chi sighs with relief.  "Camping!"  Chi-Chi falls to the ground with disbelief.  Gohan finishes and they go camping along with Krillin and Oolong.  At around sunset, Salza and his Armored Squadron, the equivelent of Frieza's Ginyu Force, arrive on Earth and attack the group.  Goku fights the three members of the Armored Squadron, Salza; the leader, Neiz; and Doore.  Neiz would have been killed if he did not have a very convienient retractable head.  Cooler interveins and fires two beams from his eyes towards Gohan.  Goku jumps in the way and takes the attack directly in the back.  His shirt is burned and he falls into a river.  The Armored Squardron thinks that Goku has died, but Cooler knows that someone who could defeat Frieza is powerful enough to survive that attack.  Cooler tells them to search for him, and they eventually just blast everything in sight.  Goku and Gohan take shelter in a cave which is eventually blasted and caves in on them.  Krillin eventually comes and digs them out.  Gohan is told to ride Icarus to Korin's Tower and get some Sensu Beans.  He needs to ride Icarus so that he won't give his power away.  Gohan eventually arrives and gets a bag of Sensu Beans from Korin, but Yajiroby throws him an extra one that Gohan stashes into his clothes.  Then he starts the return journey back.  On the way back, Icarus gets tired, so Gohan decides to give him a Sensu Bean.  Even though Gohan rode Icarus back, he is discovered by the Armored Squadron.  He is about to be killed by Salza when Piccolo intervenes and attacks Salza.  Piccolo kills Doore with ease as Gohan flees to deliver the Sensu Beans.  Neiz hits Piccolo with his Bind Wave, allowing Salza to chase after Gohan.  Piccolo soon breaks the Bind Wave and reflects it back at Neiz, killing him.  Piccolo then flies after Salza and fights him in a forest.  Cooler then arrives and blasts Piccolo in the chest, allowing Salza to go after Gohan again.  Piccolo exclaims that Cooler, thinking that he was Frieza(which I do not make sense of, because this movie would have taken place after Trunks would have sliced Mecha Frieza and destroyed him.  Cooler than blasts Piccolo until he is almost dead.  Gohan eventually makes it back to the others, but right before he can give the bag of Sensu Beans to his father, Salza shows up and blasts the bag.  Krillin is so angered that he charges Salza.  Gohan remembers the bean that Yajiroby threw to him and pulls it out and gives it to Goku.  Gohan then goes to help Krillin while Goku eats the bean.  Goku walks out and Salza attacks him, but to no effect.  Goku then makes Salza fly into a rock formation.  Goku then starts fighting Cooler.  They seem pretty much even, but then Cooler tells Goku his secret.  He had been fighting in the form that was Frieza's most powerful.  However, he had discovered another transformation, and he transforms into possibly the biggest of the five forms their species can turn into.  Cooler starts beating Goku, even when he uses the Kaioken and the Kamehameha Wave.  Then Goku turns into a Super Saiyan.  Now Goku has the upper hand, and Cooler is forced to play his trump card, the Supernova, used by Frieza against Trunks and Planet Vegeta.  Goku is about to be defeated, but he findsw some last strength and throws the Supernova back at Cooler, further propelling it with a Kamehameha Wave.  Cooler is driven into the sun and perishes.  Then Goku, Krillin, and Gohan start looking for Piccolo.  Then Salza appears and tries to attack them, but he is thwarted by a Special Beam Cannon from Piccolo.  When Gohan looks around for Piccolo, he is not there.  He is seen staring up at the sun and drinking some water, almost fully healed thanks to his ability of regeneration to end the fifth Dragonball Z movie.
