Curse of the Blood Rubies Story

Note: This is taken from the Funimation dub of the series.

This movie starts with a demolition crew under the control of King Gurumes pretty much destroying a village.  The reason that they are doing this is that they are looking for blood rubies.  A little girl tries to resist, but her father plays the price.  Her name is Pansy, and she runs away to go find Master Roshi so that he could help her rid them of the king's army.  A morphed, monster looking king says that he has an unquenchable hunger that can only be removed with help from the Dragonballs.  This story introduces a boy named Goku.  Yes, he does have a girly voice.  He goes fishing, and is eventually hit by a girl in a car named Bulma (if you want to read about this in more detail, go to my Dragonball Story post).  He charges at her but intentionally misses when she tells him that she is human.  They see an airplane going toward Goku's house.  After Bulma explains how they are going to steal his Dragonball, he runs, tugging along his gargantuan fish.  The two people in the plane steal the Dragonball, but leave a gold coin as payment.  Bulma pulls out a capsule that turns into a plane, and they set off in pursuit.  There is a shooting battle, and eventually Bulma's plane goes down.  Goku throws his Power Pole so that Bulma won't fall all the way.  During the fall Bulma did something embarrassing that I will not go into.  Goku and Bulma are riding her motorcycle in a forest when they meet Pansy, the girl from the village.  She is looking at a giant demon looking monster.  When he sees Goku, he changes form into a giant robot looking thing and dares Goku to break a large tree.  Goku does this with ease, and when the shape-shifter sees this, he turns into a bat and flees deeper into the woods.  Goku goes after the bat while Bulma talks to Pansy.  Goku manages to hit the bat out of the forest and into a desert where it turns into a pig (what desert is right next to a forest?).  The shape-shifter reveals that he is Oolong, a shape-shifter, who's natural form is a pig.  Oolong sees a wall and starts panicing because he knows that they are in Yamcha, a desert bandit's, domain.  Yamcha soon arrives with his sidekick, Puar.  Puar recognizes Oolong from shape-shifting school, where Oolong got kicked out for reasons I will not go into.  Oolong tells Goku to fight Yamcha, and he agrees.  They start fighting.  Eventually Yamcha hits him with an attack known as Wolf Fang Fist.  This sends Goku flying into a stone pillar.  Then Bulma and Pansy show up, and Yamcha panicks because he gets nervous around girls his age.  He gets so nervous that he falls off the high stone bridge that they are on.  He falls and chips his tooth, then runs away.  In a capsule RV, Pansy tells Goku, Bulma, and Oolong that she is looking for Master Roshi so that he could defeat the king's men.  Yamcha, hiding outside under a window, overhears this and decides to beat them to Master Roshi's island.  They set off and get to the island.  Master Roshi says he had been expecting them and will not allow them to steal his shell.  They tell him that they could care less about the shell.  Yamcha comes out and tells Master Roshi to attack them because they would steal the shell right off his back.  Master Roshi calls for the Flying Nimbus to decide who is telling the truth, saying that only the person telling the truth would be able to stand on the cloud.  Master Roshi tries to demonstrate standing on the cloud, but falls straight through.  Goku jumps on and the cloud supports him.  This tells Master Roshi that Goku and his friends were telling the truth.  Yamcha flees in a boat before fighting.  Bulma sees the Dragonball hanging from Master Roshi's neck and asks for it, and he agrees.  The same people who stole Goku's Dragonball are in a submarine near the island, and they send out robots to steal the Dragonballs.  They steal one, but Goku destroys the other one.  They fire missiles to blow up the island so they can retrieve the last ball, but Master Roshi powers up and fires a Kamehameha Wave at the missiles, destroying them and the submarine.  The two flee in a jet.  Goku decides to try it, and Master Roshi says that it took him fifty years to master the wave.  Goku then fires a Kamehameha Wave at a rock, destroying it.  Master Roshi is amazed, and tells Pansy that she does not need his help, but that Goku should be more than enough to beat the king and his men.  The four of them set off for the castle, but King Gurumes's army is ready for them.  Goku starts fighting the army while Bulma, Pansy, and Oolong go to look for the six Dragonballs that lie within the castle.  Goku and Yamcha, separately, eventually enter the castle as well.  Yamcha steals some blood rubies, but while he is trying to escape, he runs into Bulma, Oolong, and Pansy.  Raven, one of the two who stole the Dragonballs, throws bombs at them.  Yamcha saves them from the bombs and joins their group.  Goku and the others meet up in the king's thrown room.  The already monster looking king then grows.  Bulma sees that the Dragonballs are in his stomach, and she throws in the seventh and calls Shenron.  Shenron emerges, destroying the castle.  Pansy asks for the land to be beautiful again, and Shenron makes it so.  The Dragonballs then disperse, spreading throughout the world.  The king turns back into his normal human self, and is once again a kind ruler.  Bulma and Yamcha decide to date, and Goku gives back Raven the coin left at his house when they stole his Dragonball.  Goku flies away on his Flying Nimbus to end the movie.
